When we see sadness, war, or crime in the world, it can be confusing. These things do not come from God. God gives people free will, and some choose wrongly. God is love and peace, and He does not cause evil. People make choices, and temptation can lead them away from what is right. None of us are perfect, but God always desires that we choose what is good and right.

Life is a gift

Life is a precious gift from God. He has a purpose for every person, and He cares deeply for each one of us. Even when life feels heavy or confusing, God is with you, and your life still has meaning and value. The world can be difficult at times, but God invites us to walk through it with Him. When we turn to God, He gives us strength, comfort, and hope. There is always hope with God, even in the moments when we cannot see it yet. If a prayer has not been answered the way you hoped, trust that God knows what is best. Sometimes He has something better planned, or He is guiding you in a different direction for a reason. Apostle means a person sent as a messenger of Christ. Christ comes from a Greek word meaning “anointed one.” In Hebrew, this is “Messiah.” Disciple means one who follows and learns from a teacher. El Shaddai: El means God, and Shaddai means Almighty. Hallow means to make holy or treat as sacred. Resurrection means Christ rising from the dead. Sabbath means a day of rest from labor. I share this with care, because there are teachings that can be misleading. I have personally been approached by groups who speak about a heavenly mother, and this has happened to me more than once. It is important to stay grounded in the truth of God’s word and to seek Him with understanding, so we are not led away from what is written.
