The true meaning of Christmas

The true meaning of Christmas is not found in what we see in movies or songs today. Many of them focus heavily on Santa Claus, sometimes showing him as someone who can grant wishes or make miracles happen. This can be confusing, especially for children, because the Bible teaches us to look to God alone for help, blessings, and truth.


Santa is often used as a symbol of giving, but it is important to remember that only God has the power to truly work in our lives. Reindeer do not fly, and Santa cannot make wishes come true. Only God can do what feels miraculous and bring real change to the heart.


Christmas is about something far greater. It is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the greatest gift the world has ever received. His love is not just for one day or one season. His presence, his grace, and his salvation are for every day of our lives.


This season is a reminder to keep our hearts focused on Jesus, the one who truly brings hope, peace, and joy.
