What The Bible Says About God As Father

The Bible refers to God as our Father and shows us how to understand Him through His word. It teaches us to follow what He has revealed and to be careful not to add to or change it.


Throughout scripture, God is consistently described as Father. Because of this, it is important to stay rooted in what the Bible teaches and not be led into confusion by ideas that are not found in it.


I share this with care, because there are teachings that can be misleading. I have personally been approached by groups who speak about a heavenly mother, and this has happened to me more than once.


It is important to stay grounded in the truth of God’s word and to seek Him with understanding, so we are not led away from what is written.
